Safe Families for Children – Pikes Peak serves the Colorado Springs and surrounding area. We’re committed to serving families in crisis by partnering with local churches, where families open their homes and lives to vulnerable children.

We create extended family–like supports for desperate families through a community of devoted volunteers who are motivated by faith to keep children safe and keep families intact. Safe Families started with the belief to defend the cause of the weak and the fatherless. Since our humble beginnings, we’ve helped increase the footprint of Safe Families throughout the United States. In these areas, our goals are to:

• Prevent child abuse and neglect
• Strengthen and stabilize the family
• Reduce the number of children going into foster care
